The Clearing and Execution Services Group (CEG) is comprised of two separate but related businesses — RBC Dain Correspondent Services, which is a provider of clearing services to independent broker dealers; and Hill, Thompson, Magid & Co., Inc., which provides execution services to broker dealers in the niche of small cap and special situation equities. The two businesses were combined in May 2003.
